Sun Print is a concentrated liquid heliographic paint. Stated simply all this means is that Sun Print contains some scientific thingys that when exposed to the sun try to run away from anything that is placed on top of it. It likes the sun and runs away from the shade . This causes it to have a wonderful side effect of printing an image of your stencil onto the surface it is applied to producing an almost photographic negative stencil effect under your stencil

Applications

Sun Print can be used for a range of surfaces such as textiles, canvas, wood and paper. You can apply it by brush, sponge, airbrush or my favourite method a simple spray bottle It can be used for batik or painted directly.

Sun Print is extremely colourfast once it is heat set and maybe used for a range of fabrics including cottons, silks, polyester and acrylics.

Patchworkers can create their own unique and original fabrics. It can be used on primed surfaces such as wood and canvas.

It makes a wonderful background for a painting that can be further enhanced or developed with acrylic paints.

It can be applied to all papers but works best on heavier art papers, however I have applied it with success to tissue paper.

Sun Printed papers are a wonderful medium for scrapbookers. I have also found that photographs of sun printed art papers make unique and exciting additions to digital scrapbooking and art works.
